African Continent WordCamp Sponsorship Program
This program aims to decrease barrier to entry for African WordCamp attendees by covering the admission cost for as many interested applicants as possible.
Our program is dedicated to sending local African WordPressers to their local WordCamp. Oftentimes, the cost of admission can mean the difference between someone getting this unique opportunity and not. We would like to remove that barrier to ensure that a many folks can attend as possible.
How does it work?
We connect with event organizers ahead of the event. They then share our signup form with local potential attendees. Availability is first-come, first-served. If approved, attendees get an email confirmation. We purchase their ticket using their email address so the access is sent directly to them.
Upcoming Events
Attendance typically includes access to all talks, workshops, and panels; networking opportunities, lunch and refreshments, exclusive event swag, and optional access to Contributor Day.
